We set out to build our 1967 Chevy Nova SS as an all around performer, capable of both reliable street & track use, and ended up with one gorgeous beauty queen backed with the right amount of "mean" to compete in Super Chevy's Suspension & Handling Challenge. Far from it's original image of "the" economy car of it's era, the fine wine glow of Corvette Monterey Metallic Red paint adds a touch of class while enhancing the beautiful lines of this early X-body, but it's the balance of steering, brakes, and suspension below the sheet metal that really shines. Powered by a fuel-injected Edelbrock Signature Series 383ci crate engine, all the extra horses are held under control through our track proven PTK4 Pro-touring Package paired with our 400 Series sport ratio steering box. For Novas, this complete and affordable package features a Mini sub-frame kit with upper & lower Totally Tubular control arms, front dual-adjustable coil-over kit, front & rear pro-touring sway bars, rear suspension kit (including dual-adjustable aluminum rear shocks, rear lowered leaf springs, & rear traction bars), 13" front & 12" rear CPP Big Brake kits and a dual-reservoir master cylinder. This combination of upgrades work together with enough adjustabilty to make it possible to push the Nova (and the competiton) at track day/autocross events, while enjoying the cruise home in comfort!
