When adjusting emergency brake cables for a rear disc brake conversion, it is advisable to utilize Classic Performance’s practical bolt-on parking brake cable extenders. These extenders simplify the attachment of the front cable to your disc brake calipers and help raise the e-brake cables above the rear leaf springs.

The CPP CS series brake kits are designed with a newly developed direct fit spindle that integrates effortlessly with factory steering arms, providing an easy yet impactful enhancement to your braking system. This spindle features a C7 bearing hub assembly, which addresses the flex issues found in the original spindle pin, a problem that can lead to caliper piston pushback, especially when using aftermarket multi-piston radial mount calipers. Each kit comes complete with 13” C5 drilled and slotted rotors, C5 twin piston calipers, and stainless steel hoses to boost overall performance.

These kits are specifically designed for vehicles equipped with 17-inch wheels or larger, making them a perfect choice for those looking to optimize performance with 18-20” wheels. The brake kits utilize a 5 on 4.75 bolt pattern and include 7/16 x 20 studs, while the C7 hubs are fitted with 1/2 x 20 holes, allowing for potential upgrades to larger studs if needed. This brake kit is suitable for 1970-81 F Body and 1975-79 X Body models.
